Buffalo Wild Wings is keeping summer exciting by launching happy hour and a brand new menu item – bird dawgs.
The new offering is the ultimate mix of hot dogs and tender chicken. Buffalo Wild Wings’ latest creation is hand-breaded chicken tenderloin placed on a brioche bun and drizzled with sauces and toppings.
Customers can either choose their own toppings and create a custom bird, or order three special combos.
To start, the loaded bird dawg is topped with beer cheese and wild honey mustard. If you prefer something spicier, the Honey BBQ Bird Dawg is made with fries and Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ Sauce. Finally, the buffalo bird dawg offers something spicier; it consists of ranch, napa slaw, and Buffalo Wild Wings medium buffalo sauce.

On Wednesday, Chicken Tenders and Hot Dog Medley make their big debut at Buffalo Wild Wings’ new happy hour, which runs weekdays from 3-6 p.m.
Some standout happy hour menu offerings include Goose Island’s Wild Herd Kolsh drafts for $3, strawberry margaritas for $5, Truly Berry cherry lemonade for $6, fries and salsa for $3 and, of course, $5 bird dawgs.
Bird Dawgs aren’t the sports bar chain’s only invention this year. In April, they announced the Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho Wings.
Inspired by the popular snack flavor, Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho Wings offer customers chicken wings, a sauce based on Doritos nacho cheese flavor and a crispy coating of Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho tortilla chips.

This spicy and sassy item, exclusive to the Buffalo Wild Wings, arrived just before the NBA playoffs and even got an endorsement from Golden State Warriors player Klay Thompson.
“Buffalo Wild Wings has the best sauces and Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho brings the best heat – put them together and you have Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho Wings,” Thompson said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Doritos and BWW on this fiery couple.”
