Dalloway Terrace collaborates with Candice Brown for the new Afternoon Tea menu

Dalloway Terrace is delighted to announce its new Afternoon Tea menu in collaboration with Candice Brown; author of the recently published ‘Comfort’ cookbook and winner of the Great British Bake Off 2016. Candice prides herself on taking inspiration from traditional dishes and experimenting with them to create exciting flavor combinations and will lend her culinary expertise to the Bloomsbury-based restaurant from 11th September 2017.

Candice has created a new offering full of culinary delights exclusively for Dalloway Terrace. Customers can enjoy delicious creations such as a tasty Feta & Zucchini Scone with optional Thyme Clotted Cream and an Orange & Cardamom Scone. Guests are also invited to enjoy a unique menu of sweet treats, including peanut butter and jelly profiteroles, as well as lemon, Half Hitch gin and poppyseed cake. Also on offer are chocolate, mint and almond rounds with chocolate ganache as well as meringue kisses filled with cream, chocolate and sour milk.

Highlights of the savory menu include chicken and chorizo ​​with tarragon mayonnaise in a granary roll and smoked haddock and leek pie with Gruyere cheese. Also on offer are hot smoked salmon with cucumber and dill relish on sourdough along with British classics, egg and bacon rolls with egg mayonnaise and dry cured streaky bacon.

Candice says: “I’m delighted to be collaborating with Dalloway Terrace on this new afternoon tea. I love the ambiance of La Terrasse and have worked very hard to create a menu that is both elegant and delicious. I can’t wait for people to start enjoying it in this beautiful setting. The new Afternoon Tea, featuring Candice’s menu of classic dishes with her personal touch, will be available from 12pm to 4pm daily and is priced at £35pp or £45pp when enjoyed with a glass of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV champagne.

Dalloway Terrace, nestled in the heart of Bloomsbury is named after the eponymous character created by Virginia Woolf, an author whose name will forever be associated with the area. Since opening in March 2016, the restaurant has firmly positioned itself as one of London’s top dining destinations. The Dalloway Terrace is open for breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the à la carte menu is available from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Customers can also take advantage of the popular brunch offering from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends only.
