JW Marriott Kolkata’s Vintage Asia is getting a revamped menu

Includes signature Japanese selections across appetizers, cocktails, soups, entrees, and desserts

Vintage Asia, the Asian fine dining restaurant at JW Marriott Kolkata, is set to unveil its redesigned menu which has been curated by Executive Chef – Asian Chef Tej – B Saru. New additions to the menu include iconic Japanese selections.

Speaking on the new menu, B Saru said he was delighted to showcase Asia’s culinary heritage, adding that it would also focus on bringing the best of Japanese cuisine to the restaurant. He said the restaurant would emphasize interactive presentations.

The menu would include options from wok, soups, grills, appetizers, main course and desserts, including more than 20 dim sum variations like Edamame & Truffle, Truffle & Gold – Mushroom Nest, Siu Mai Chicken and Mostly Shiitake, ‘Xiao Long Bao – Pork Tea, Siu Mai chicken and especially shiitake and lamb in kefir-spiced lime and fresh edamame, among others.

In the appetizers, customers will be able to find options like seafood salad, fried tofu with Chinese rock salt, crispy Beijing lamb with fragrant chilli and garlic and fresh chives. Plant-based coarse salts would include Kung Pao Mock Duck, Pork Spare Ribs with Light Soya Glaze and Star Anise, and Barbecue NZ Lamb Chops, Kaffir Lime, Lemon and Clariified Butte’. The wok section would include noodle and ramen options like Sesame Soba Noodles, YakiUdon Noodles, and Spicy Black Miso Ramen. The redefined menu also includes cocktails and desserts.
