Outside of the café’s popular tea times, G&Tea is open until 8pm seven days a week – and, as the name suggests, gin is the hero after dark.
G&Tea’s menu also features many of Australia’s finest gin cocktails, such as a G&Tea Martini with cultured botanica gin, noilly prat and lishan tea.
The cafe also has a great selection of savory dishes, including smoked salmon, cream cheese, fennel and orange on rye.
Other special dishes like Cajun shrimp remoulade with charred lemon served on a brioche bun are also available.
But G&Tea’s decadent selection of sweet treats is equally appealing.
Freshly baked scones with homemade jam and whipped cream are every foodie’s dream – and the vanilla bean pannacotta topped with gin-infused rhubarb and raspberry is a G&Tea specialty.
