The Right Royal Jubilee themed afternoon tea menu at the Grade I listed Teesside Restaurant

The dress code has been set and the menu sorted for a royal-themed afternoon tea at one of Teesside’s most popular restaurants.

The Grade I listed Acklam Hall, home to the Tomahawk Steakhouse, has announced a special Jubilee Tea event to mark the Queen’s Platinum Celebration which begins in June.

Guests will be greeted with a glass of bubbly or mocktail at the Middlesbrough venue before being shown to their seats for an afternoon tea ‘fit for a queen’. There will be live musical entertainment provided by The Swing Things Trio as well as ‘A Quiz Fit For A Queen’ before toasting the monarch.

“Come join us at Acklam Hall as we celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations with an afternoon of musical merriment and delicious afternoon tea,” the event information reads. “Dress code: your best crown jewels and the Union Jacks.”

The Friday 3 June event runs from 12pm to 4.30pm and costs £35 per person and £15 for children. Tickets include a welcome drink, traditional afternoon tea, ‘Queen’s Quiz’, live music and a glass of bubbly to toast the Queen. and activities and a Union Jack ball to take home.
